Gorse bush slalom

Another visit to the hills with two friends who may well be the only people (possibly ever) who can claim to have snowboarded down the Lawley in March. I didn't have a go at snowboarding but after the long, steep climb up I wasn't entirely unhappy to stay at the top with a flask of coffee and almost endless interesting views to photograph, while they rapidly disappeared downhill, and less rapidly reappeared after ten minutes or so walking back up. After three runs they were too tired to climb again, and I was starting to wonder if my enjoyment of the scenery was tinged with the delirious onset of hypothermia, so it was time to get back to the car.
