Day 12 Level 3 Lockdown

Hubby baked his sourdough bread this morning, so this afternoon we set off on our walk and delivered a loaf (socially-distanced, of course) to a friend from our Tuesday night walking group; and popped one in the letterbox of a friend from our Tuesday morning walking group.  It’s nice to share, especially as people are getting a tad despondent after almost seven weeks in lockdown.

The blip is of a tree we saw on our walk, which hubby remarked looked like a human figure - crossed legs, raised arms.  The extra shows the results of hubby having a little fun on his iPad.

There were 33 new community cases today, which was expected, but the troubling fact is that there are now 2 cases in the Waikato region that haven’t yet been linked to the Auckland cluster. It does seem as though the Delta virus is spreading and we urgently need many more people to get vaccinated.
