End of Summer

On my morning walk I came across two men dismantling the beach huts at Ventnor. The Summer must now be officially over! Whilst many of us were wearing jackets, however, I counted four brave souls having a dip. After yesterday’s storms the sea was calmer and the sun did spasmodically appear. The beach front was very quiet with only a few dog walkers in evidence.
I have to say that I like it like that! I am looking forward to winter walks here.
