Can’t miss it

No speeding motorist hauled up before the Magistrate will be 
able to say “I didn’t see the sign”.

In the past week the whole village has been flooded with new sign as it
all changes from 30 mph to 20 mph. In many places it is hard to do more than 20
anyway. But it two or three places like this one I suspect there will be many folk
ignoring the law.

In any case the most dangerous traffic in the village are cyclists who come down the long,
steep, windy road often at 35 mph and silently too.

Amusingly our road is one of just two in the village which are privately owned by the residents.
This means speed limits do not apply and you can do 60 mph if you dare. But as the road is a cul de sac 
only 150 metres long you will need a Ferrari to reach that speed.
