Two goldfinches and a sparrow!

Another shot taken through a window - and this time with a camera with only x4 zoom, so much cropped. Just after I took this there was a great flurry of feathers and the higher of the two goldfinches retreated to a nearby tree while something else made for the hedge. I am not sure if the sparrow you can see was the guilty party, but if so it certainly got the worst of things.

Another bitterly cold day. I went swimming. Even the indoor pool was colder than usual!
