Kaffe Fassett Strippy

This is my quilt top photographed on the last morning of our stay after I stayed up after everyone else to attach the mitred border. It uses Westminster fabric strips mostly from a jelly roll and was started at a Jane Hall workshop at Houston - the easiest workshop you'll ever do she promised and it was. If I repeat it I will think of a colour story as Kaffe does and make it a bit less jumbled.
The journey home was a nightmare as the traffic lights where the A12 joins the M25 weren't weren't working hence log jam and over 5 hours at the wheel. I was very stiff when I climbed out finally but Alan was channelling St Bernard tendencies with G&T at the ready.
