Christmas Cake

The original plan for the sleep over was that we would make the Christmas Cake last night, but we were out very late and it made more sense to start this morning after breakfast, so that is what we did.

This is probably the earliest I've ever started my Christmas cake.....but she's baked, tomorrow after work I'll feed it more whiskey and pack it away for a couple of weeks until it's time to add more!

For the second year in a row I'm baking this Darina Allen Christmas Cake.
