Fountains Abbey

More religious ruins on Sunday. This time Fountains Abbey on what started off as a beautiful day - and largely stayed dry whilst we were out. I was interested in this installation by Steve Messam part of an exhibition ’These Passing Things’
This one ‘Bridged’ is close to the site of a lost 18th century iron bridge, it grew on me!
Spent the afternoon in the garden - lots of seasonal work there - I now have bowl fulls of green tomatoes, fingers crossed they will ripen.
