Just a few birds

Scotland trip day. 5 Udale Bay.

Today we took a drive back to the Black Isle and visited the RSPB site at Udale Bay, it is the winter home to waders,r ducks and geese., it was very windy by the waters edge so we retreated to the hide to watch the comings and goings, we saw Pink  footed geese, red shanks, wigeons, and oyster catchers to name but a few. 

Sadly we had to abort our trip to Dingwall to see the Red Kites as by then it was chucking it down.

We return to the caravan to have dinner and witnessed an amazing sun set.

Tomorrow we leave Inverness and head West to Kinlochewe where we will stay for three days.
