Marvão Echoes

Emerging from the cistern at Marvão, where Leyna recorded this of Mike and Dave testing out the echo down there. It has a height of 10 metres and is 46 metres long. It could hold enough rainwater to last six months in the case of siege. No streams on this 900m high crag.

- going to the bazaar for the English cemetery, in Elvas; I bought a chandelier for €5, which Mike thinks he'll be able to get working, and some books, of course
