River Ness & Caledonian canal

View down the Great Glen towards Loch Ness. The Caledonian canal runs above the river, almost at the height of Loch Dochfour which feeds it with the water from Loch Ness. At Inverness it drops via 5 locks to sea level and links to the Beauly Firth.
