Beyond the River

Only seven of us turned up today on a cloudy morning with a tendency to spit with rain.  We decided to stick with our original plan and drove to Albert Town and walked downstream along the Upper Clutha River Track.  We had our lunch in the trees just short of Stevenson Road as the wind was getting up.  We had a great walk and didn’t get rained on.  As usual we enjoyed a cup of something hot at a cafe afterwards.  One extra today.
