Day In Three Parts

So a Triptych! A beautiful autumnal dog walk again the old (including me) and the youngest (Fern) going as far as Giles, while Mrs A S went on to Coates Bridge and back.
I then went to visit 3 of the crew of Halifax JD276 which crashed this day in 1943 were asked to go round again during an exercise, when they suffered an engine stall. My visit allowed the group leader Darran to visit others who die on this day at York, Fulford and Selby.
I then grabbed a bit to eat before popping of to the Derwent for a spot of fishing, the river had not risen after the recent rain but was carrying a lot leaves, twigs and small branches. Not ideal and results were an afternoon in the fresh air a fly past by a Kingfisher.
Return home to Venison roast potatoes and Yorkshire Puddings :o)
Take care one and all.
