Fireworks...........again

Just as I was saying to Mrs P that I didnt take the camera out today and there fore now blip, the fireworks start going off outside

Now anywhere else in the world MASSIVE (read expensive) firework displays generally mark large occasions, in Dubai however they are used to mark:

Sundays
Mondays
Tuesdays
Wednesdays (you get the drift)
Hotel openings
Night club openings
Anniversaries of the above
Somebodies planned one of the above
Somebody was hired to plan the above
Sheikhs birthdays
Something religious - of which there are many occasions
The purchase of drinks :)
The opening of a bag of crisps
