Eighteenth century mono

The piano was invented around 1700 by Bartolomeo Cristofori of Italy. The pianoforte has the ability to play soft and loud noises and as such was an advance on the harpsichord which did not have this ability.

Here is P's grandmother's naked piano with me playing the chord of C major with middle C, E, G and the next C striking their strings.

Many thanks to Laurie54 for hosting this week's Mono Monday with a theme of inventions over the centuries.
