RAZORBILLS

B fancied a trip out today so we went up to Seaham for coffee (& cake) and I spotted these Razorbills (Alca torda) swimming just outside the harbour. I've probably seen them at the Farne Islands, but never knowingly so close to home.

As usual the Starlings were behaving like hooligans, squabbling and thieving around the place (extra), but I can't help having a soft spot for them.
