garden fieldfare

...bit excited here! This morning I chopped up a bag of apples & threw them into the back garden, really for the blackbirds but secretly hoping any passing waxwings might spot them! Came home from work, apples all gone which is rare in my garden....and if you've ever been near waxwings and berries then you'll know they leave 'debris....'

Well there was waxwing like looking blobs in the back garden so I chopped up more apples. 10 mins later there was a beautiful fieldfare having a good old munch. I watched it for maybe half an hour, it didn't like the sound of my camera and kept hiding. It also kept coming back, so wonderful! :)
