The Striding Girl

A bronze statue near to where I live.Created by F Röll in 1932 just as the Weimar era  was about to end .
Germany lacks a prudish  approach to art .I like the work and  thought mono did it justice .Great to see no fit bit or smart phone.The latter being a nightmare if you have a disability and people constantly walk  into you .What is noteworthy is the damage caused to this work has only occurred since the millennium .So much for how tolerant  'bright young things' are now ....
