Carbon Cycle
Carbon dioxide is in in short supply. A combination of events including current fuel shortages has lead to a reduction in the manufacture of fertilizer, of which a by-product is carbon dioxide.
Joseph Priestly is accepted as being the inventor of carbonated water. In 1767 he discovered, by accident, that if you leave a bowl of water over some beer, the result is sparkling water.

My own internal weather today created its own bubbling. The one thing about weather that we can rely on, is that it changes :)
