First day!

Fantastic first day, the visibility wasn't great but there was lots of snow and that's the main thing! We stayed in the Avoriaz area and Les Lindarets.

One funny moment was when Matt and I went down a run together, and then waited for Mum at the bottom. We were waiting for ages and flopped in the snow having a snowball fight. We happened to be on the other side of a bump though, and Mum had been standing at the top of the bump waiting for us!

Delicious breakfast of croissants (GF) and scrambled eggs. Afternoon tea was the most fabulous cake I have ever eaten, with strawberries in I think, and dinner was pork followed by chocolate tarts. Yum! There are two other families staying in the chalet - a couple with a cute little 3 year old called Max, and a Mum with two daughters just older than me. We were chatting over dinner and realised that we know quite a lot of the same people. How funny!
