Monday: Garden Salad

It felt like a very busy day!
Collected nasturtium seeds, the plants have been full of flowers this year -  https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2888898397199141228
so many different colours, would be nice to repeat next summer!
Today’s salad: pea shoots, red-veined sorrel, American land cress and common sorrel, delicious in my lunchtime sandwich.
After lunch went back into the garden and pruned the 2 eating apple trees: Bardsey & Games Grieve. As I was putting cuttings into the green bin the sky turned dark grey, thought it wise to bring the washing in ... all was well, went outside hoping to clear the leaves off the paths but the first large drops of rain arrived and seconds later there was a deluge, that job can wait for another day!
Today’s Blip: salad leaves, James Grieve apples, Schizostylis (kaffir Lily) and a sedum which self-seeds everywhere but the insects like it.
Late evening and it’s pouring with rain - the builders are supposed to be coming back to finish off the chimney when the weather improves …
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
