Gadwell duck ( Male)
Went to Whisby nature reserve just outside Lincoln, not been for a while and you used to have to crossover the railway line to get right out into the reserve.
They opened a new bridge over the railway line with wheeled access in 2019 , I have not been on that part of the reserve since the bridge opened until today . Interesting to see how they have let some parts over grow to restrict access but now all the paths and routes around the reserve have wheeled access :-) so with the help of my walker managed 8.5K steps :-) with lots of short stops on the way to photograph anything interesting, final stop was a bird hide where I took this and some shoveler ducks.
This was taken with my 100-400 mm lens with a 1.4X converter so in full frame 1120mm .
