New toy

The replacement for our 19 year old washing machine arrived. Due to clever timing, I missed the whole installation and removal process, which was carried out with her usual aplomb by my dearly beloved.
 
My contribution will be interpreting the instruction manual and getting the shiny new toy to actually do the washing.
 
The voting for the bird of the year is hotting up. My yet to be revealed favourite is still in the running. Sadly the lyrebird is gone.

Meanwhile the Premier, Deputy Premier and a third senior member of Cabinet have resigned from the NSW Government. Extraordinary times.
