Day 14 Level 3 Lockdown

We didn’t go out for a walk until late afternoon today, but I knew what I wanted to blip. There is a hospitality venue down in St Heliers overlooking the sea called Moretons Bar and Restaurant, and they have a rather nice mural on the end wall of their outdoor seating area, so that is today’s blip.

There were 24 new community cases today, 6 of those in the Waikato region and 18 in Auckland. The Prime Minister announced that vaccine certificates/passports will be introduced in November and be required in certain high risk circumstances, to ensure more certainty and greater safety” at particular times.  Summer festivals are one of the large scale events being targeted.
