Scalpay

A whole dry sunny day where we could see the Harris mountains and fabulous scenery in crisp clear air.

Drove to Scalpay for a 7 mile walk around the island. Varied, often boggy but a great walk. Sat down for a break at the Eilean Glas lighthouse, looking over to Skye and watching a pod of dolphins in the distance. 

And the clear conditions meant the night sky was incredible - stars, stars, stars …
