kid in a sweet shop

the smell drew me into this old fashioned sweet shop - l could have stayed all day just looking at the licorice. in the end l bought laces for me and swirls for the other half - next time it will be aniseed balls! or perhaps cherry lips, or sweet tobacco or flying saucers or chocolate limes or - or - or -----. A lady in the shop was talking about Stockleys sweets - Mrs Stockley was a neighbour and l had my fill of mis-shapes growing up.
