Mussels

Bought these today from Macallum's fish shop in Finnieston to make moule et frites today, one of my favourite dishes. Simple but tasty and a nice reminder of happy times spent in France.

I love the stripey patterns on these ones and the rich colours.

Might make this the first in an occasional series about the really great fresh produce you can buy in Scotland.
