Lovely new venue

We returned to Face to Face meetings with our local Arts Society. Our new venue, a brilliantly modified church, had excellent ventilation and space, good technology - and a super atmosphere.

They’ve put in a sort of mezzanine floor which is ideal for lectures and, to my huge surprise, 85 members returned for our lecture about the Royal Academy.  It really did seem more like former times and a number of us kept our masks on as we gained in confidence.

My blip tries to capture the feel of The Hub. It’s taken from the cafe area, equipped with high chairs, toys,  a big soft futon like lounging space for kids. As you can see, there’s a magnificent stained glass window, and sweeping arches.

It’s very encouraging.

And the lecture was good too.
