Geocaching in Chester
The bad weather forecast today meant that we ditched Plan A in the Derbyshire hills for today's geocaching expedition. We then realised last night that Plan B in Manchester wasn't a good idea because of the party conference. We then came up with a 3rd plan to do a cache in Chester that we had been meaning to do for some time that we knew would be time consuming.
It proved to be a good choice because the Chester cache was great fun and involved visiting 36 different places in the city to solve the puzzle to get the final co-ords. The blip shows Paul working out the solution in a cafe by the river. In total it took 4 hours to complete although we had a couple of coffee breaks and didn't race around.

Lands End to John O'Groats 1000 Mile Virtual Challenge Update
Day 239 - Highlands 5.6 miles walked 937 miles completed
Unfortunately the route seems to go a bit awry here and instead of following roads and tracks it has started to follow a straight line. I therefore passed Achavandra Muir, swam across Loch Fleet and finished by the A9 at Culmaily.
