Renovations

Thank you for all the supportive comments yesterday. Although not quite ready for the grand reveal I thought I would give you an idea of part of the work undertaken to date.

Pleased with how the work is coming along. The top left is the before. Right is during and bottom left is the latest state of play. Hopefully the scaffolding will come down this week but still more work to do on the brick half of the building.

It is a listed building the front built in 1780 with later extensions. It is the later extensions that have had the problem largely due to some dreadful cement pointing which caused the stone to crumble. It has been replaced with reclaimed stone plus traditional lime pointing and hopefully will last a considerable time.
