The garden has really popped in our absence, including some green lawn showing through the dry brown remnants of winter.

It’s been an interesting day that started with a rude awakening by Shiv who walked into the bathroom door and had us awake and by her side in what felt like an instant. She was fine but it took us a while to get back to sleep.

Off to the office for a good catch-up, but three hours later, the power went out, and stayed that way for the rest of the day. The problem for me was that I had to wait until an assessment that involved our young people was done so I could answer any remaining questions, there was one!

Home for a wander round the garden before an outing with Shiv.

So glad that the day is done.
