Work party in the rain

This morning I managed to do a bit of work on the mosaic at church before the rain started.
I walked home as Mr Rat was using the car, had a quick lunch and went down to the ponds for the monthly work party. By this time it was raining in earnest but that didn't stop 5 of us picking up litter, cutting back vegetation encroaching the path and clearing long grass etc off the beebank so the council mowers could see where it is when they come to do the Autumn cut. The pic is of the work partly done, you could hardy find the bank before we started.
Mr Rat was glad he didn't have to cycle in all the rain.
Zoom prayer meeting this evening, maybe one in church before the end of the month.
