Pegging the washing out and then going off to work can be a risk - especially at the moment with the weather being so changeable. We've had bright, lovely mornings, which have clouded over by midday and seen showers before tea time.

Tomorrow looks as if it will be wet, so although it was dark by the time I got home after Tap, I went out with a torch to retrieve a whole line of clothes. There is something very dispiriting about having to bring sopping wet clothes back inside - so best to avoid that if poss.
