October 2nd Saturday Strollers

October is already upon us and the next 2nd Saturday Strollers gathering is only 7-days away!

For this month's walk we're venturing out to deepest 'West Lothian' and a circular walk, which will start-and-finish at Linlithgow Railway Station ... the details are as outlined below:

- meet for a 10am walking departure!
- at Linlithgow Railway Station

- to be there for 10am; the 9.39am train from Haymarket, will get you to Linlithgow railway station for 9.54am!
- I'll be on that train - the 9.39am from Haymarket
- a day-return fare should cost you £8.90

- IMPORTANT: although the link above, and the attached JPEG, indicate the starting point as being the Canal Centre ... we'll meet/start at Linlithgow Railway Station!

- the whole route will be around 8.5miles, in total
- that should take us about between 4-5 hours to complete ... including a lunch stop!
- please do bring along some snacks/packed-lunch etc.

- there are plenty of trains returning from Linlithgow to Haymarket
i.e. 15.14 ; 15.19 ; 15.44 ... all taking about 15-minutes or so to get back to Edinburgh.
