Candlelight

The rain through the night last night was torrential and kept me awake. More had been forecast today but we only had a couple of short sharp showers.
A day of catching up on more ironing and a bit of admin.
As autumn sets in it’s good to light candles in the evenings, loving the view from above of tonight’s candle with the burnt off pieces of wick.
Early night is in order and fingers crossed the roads aren’t flooded on my drive to work in the morning.
