I had a job in the Presidio... headshots for a long-time client. The Presidio is larger in area than Golden Gate Park, and once was a military residential area. Many—if not most—of the buildings in the Presidio have been rehabilitated and rented out to businesses. But because the Presidio is (I'm pretty sure) considered a historical landmark, signage must be in accordance with historical specifications.
