Seed gathering in the Crinan Woods

We both enjoyed a wonderful day learning about seed harvesting and growing at the Crinan Woods with a group of Woodland Trust volunteers . It was a special day. I enjoyed some quiet moments taking photos of the beautiful views over the water and the amazing variety of lichens, ferns - amazing light in the woods .
We gathered about 3 kg of hazelnuts beteeen us for the project.
I love being up in Mid Argyll - lots of lovely memories and one or two kent faces on our walks.
