A walk to blow the cobwebs away today and we took in the Sutton Hoo Anglo-Saxon burial site, recently made (in)famous by the film 'The Dig' starring Ralph Fiennes ( The Dig )  Whilst the film set was somewhere in Surrey, UK.  The actual site is in Suffolk, UK and a recently erected viewing tower overlooks the burial mounds.  Todays image is from that tower and the nearest mound is the main burial chamber as depicted in the film where is is thought KIng Readwald was buried. ( Readwald ).
