Beaches closed - see yellow tape

due to an oil spill in a town down north... but they predict that the oil will travel south with the current eventually. We keep our fingers crossed.
So how did that happen: The oil company that drills the oil from the ocean bed can monitor themselves versus government oversight. Here we go again......they had lots of problems in the past. In this incident they did not report the leak immediately - 12 hours later. 
Surfers, dolphins and locals knew there was something wrong, they could smell it. The dolphins all took off in a hurry, a surfer reported.
A tanker may have set anchor near one of the pipelines that goes from the oil platform to the shore and dragged it 150 feet. This is still under investigation.
