Volunteering Day

Perfect weather for my day volunteering with the glorious grasslands team. Today we were helping to remove brambles, elders and shrubby hawthorns that were competing with the native grasses and wildflowers in the unspoilt grassland.

An unexpected bonus was meeting the lovely Pam Ayres.
