Sun in Brum

Hey there mr blue....

The sun popped out this morning as i flew down the m1. Wanted to stretch the legs of the new car, so decides to drive to Brum. All was fine until a car fire on the m6 meant a delay of an hour...hey ho.

Struggled to park in Birmingham as the usual car park was still an ice rink so ended up parking at the town hall.

The sun was still out as left the office. Am really unfamiliar with brum so I don't know what notable sights there are just yet. This is a cathedral on colmore row, st Phillips, or Birmingham cathedral. As I walked towards it, the sun hid behind a cloud. Snow still lying around on the ground.

Got to car, out of the city, took a wrong turn and head m6 west, instead of east. You can tell I'm not yet firing on all cylinders!! Travelled 4 mile on that and then missed the turning again! Another 3 mile in the wrong direction! Once I'd sorted myself out there was horrendous queue the other way....so an hour after leaving the office, I'm just passing by where I should've gotten on!!

Thankfully not bad from there.

Home just in time for haircut, scare cut! Chilli for tea then a catch up on some tv.
