The afternoon sun felt warm with smatterings of white clouds in the blue sky and such a contrast to yesterday’s weather. We walked along the reservoir service road from Flotterstone passing Glencorse Reservoir and following the Logan burn up to the Loganlea Reservoir where we watched fishermen trying to land fish. There was much evidence that the burn had been very high yesterday and the water running down the Loganlea overflow was very fast but on our way back there was much less water flowing from the reservoir. There were signs of autumn with the bracken changing and only a few remnants of heather and skeins of geese flying overhead. The main photo shows the angler’s boats beside the Glencorse Reservoir near the start of the walk.
