Hard work

Decided to move furniture around today - moved the sofa from the sitting room into the study - on my own! The sofa is not particularly heavy, and it does have castors - but its smallest dimension is 29in - and so are the doorways! A bit of pushing and shoving and it was there. Then I had to move the bureau and the smaller of two bookcases from the study into the sitting room (see extra). 
The dogs are annoyed - last week I had the council take away ‘their’ armchair now  the sofa has gone from the sitting room too - they have to use the dog beds - there are 4 in the sitting room, two in the hall and a blanket box with a duvet on in the conservatory - plenty of choice!
MY new chair arrives on Thursday!
