Swan Song for Wasps
Ivy is in bloom and smells sweet. The wasps are drawn to it. Wasps have a hard time. They're subservient all summer to their queen who feeds them. When the queen withdraws the food, the wasps go crazy and are attracted to sugar, anywhere, which is why they plague our picnics. Here, the wasp looks uncertain about the ivy. Once the food runs out, they die.
Fell over at the pharmacy. Got a lot of help and attention. The nurse practitioner took me into the surgery and cleaned my poorly knee.
Judged a photo competition via Zoom this evening.
