The first grape hyacinth in the garden this year (I planted dozens).

I'm sick of this weather, freezing, bitter wind, endless thick heavy dull cloud, slow moving, yet the wind down below cold. No light. No insects. Nothing. This is not how Spring should be!

Even the gym was hard today. Life is very hard at the moment. I'm not enjoying it much. And I keep having moments where I miss my mum so much, that I long to have her beside me, but then the realisation that she won't be there physically with me ever again is very difficult to come to terms with. xxx
