Early start in a busy house ….
I forgot my phone so although it would have been nice to capture the beautiful blue skies it’s another late night emergency blip of a houseplant!
Managed to get a lot done in the morning then sat in on a long set piece meeting all afternoon that certainly had its frustrations, before a jolly catch up which lightened the mood. Had to dash off to the first of the formal dinners with a distinguished guest that I used to go to lots of and haven’t done for so long. It was good humoured and, apart from a mix up between the soup and dessert, pretty tasty.
Home and heard about A and N’s day then went straight for an early night.
