Day 2 Level 3 Lockdown Step 1

The weather forecast was dire for today but we managed to get out for a decent walk this morning without getting rained on.  Thank goodness we did, because this afternoon has been wet and miserable.

As we walked past the Sunhill Garden Centre and Fresh Food Market we spotted this homemade chess table and pieces, made from old pallets, a piece of plywood and appropriately-marked rocks, just waiting for some players to make use of them.

There were 29 new community cases today, 5 of those in the Waikato region and 24 in Auckland.
