Crab apple

This is my Crab Apple ( floribunda ). It’s about three years old and I’m happy with its growth. It doesn’t mind the heat (43°) or frost (-8°C). Or drought.  Very garden worthy small tree. This is a malus spectabilis plena ( not a floribunda as previously mentioned). 

Today is the last day of voting for the Australian Bird of the Year. Two of my favourites are still in. I voted for the magpie as we have some that regularly visit our garden and wake me with their song. Voting is still open until 11.59pm.
