Genesis

After several postponements the long anticipated gig at Liverpool Arena was excellent, with outstanding use of video. It may have been optimistic to book tickets in February 2020 as news of a novel coronavirus was beginning to cause worldwide concern, but I was on holiday in India and had no idea that in November 2020 it would not be safe to attend an indoor event with a large crowd.

I'm still not sure about safety, but had a great evening with crossed fingers, mask and Covid pass. Long queues at the entrance were not due to passes being checked, but management of ticket checking. The crowded exit was also due to management - there are plenty of doors but most were locked until we had negotiated the crush around the shop. 

Prioritising money above infection security seems to be the norm, so although I look forward to future events I will continue to choose carefully.
