Apple of Peru Bud

I had a lovely surprise when I went into the garden this afternoon to find a blip. I thought I had lost my Apple of Peru plant, aka Shoo Fly plant, which a friend had given me a few years ago. It had been growing in our front garden but there has been no sign of it this year. Then I spotted this seedling growing in a pot in the back garden. I took a larger photo which the seek app identified as Apple of Peru. Now I can only hope the flower will develop and give me a seed head like the one I photographed last week.
